Marlene [ANI] Marlene was a solider of the Robotech Expeditionary Force stationed on the bridge of Scott Bernard's transport. She was also Scott's love interest and he had proposed to her only minutes before their fleet defolded into Earth-space and fell under Invid attack (e61.01:39). Though Scott valiantly defended her transport, there was nothing he could do to save Marlene as he helplessly watched her transport burn up during its decent through the Earth's atmosphere (e61.08:34). Later that night, Scott would find out that she accepted his marriage proposal by way of the holo-message she recorded and gave to him before their final parting on their transport's bridge (e61.11:30).
